Entry Visa Requirements for Foreign Nationals travelling to Rwanda

Nationals of all countries are eligible to obtain a visa on arrival (Entry Visa) for a stay of up to 30 days (on payment of the prescribed fee of 30 USD).

Nationals of the following countries are eligible to obtain a visa upon arrival for a stay of up to 90 days free-of-charge:

  • Benin
  • Burundi
  • Central African Republic
  • Chad
  • Democratic Republic of the Congo
  • Ghana
  • Guinea
  • Haiti
  • Indonesia
  • Kenya
  • Mauritius
  • Sao Tome and Principe
  • Senegal
  • Seychelles
  • South Sudan
  • Singapore
  • Tanzania
  • The Philippines
  • Uganda

Nationals of the following countries are eligible to obtain a visa on arrival for a stay of up to 90 days (on payment of the prescribed fee):

  • COMESA Member States:
  • the Comoros, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Libya, Madagascar, Malawi, Sudan, Swaziland, Zambia and Zimbabwe.

Please ensure that your passport is valid for at least 6 months.

Travellers coming to Rwanda from Yellow Fever endemic countries and countries with active Yellow fever transmission outbreak must present a valid Yellow Fever vaccination certificate upon arrival
